LAYLA ALHAJJAJ

Layla Al-Hajjaj started her career as an Engineer in the Oil and Gas industry, moving from Technical to Sales and to Operation Management over six and half years. After carrying out her extensive career in five different countries, Layla felt it was time for a change and stepped away from the corporate world. She moved into non-profit work to help her own community. Within a government entity, she was able to deliver projects which created inclusion opportunities for those with intellectual disabilities, specifically within Health & Fitness, Education, Sports, Community Engagement, Youth, Art and Technology.

In 2020, with the arrival of a global pandemic, Layla was inspired to start a new project focused on contributing to her community and planet through minimizing waste, educating people about sustainable and ethical beauty…and ultimately, being a part of the change this world needs. Layla’s goal with Boho is to create a sustainable and profitable local business which gives back and helps people to realize that we are all capable of being the change we wish to see in the world.
